So, why is it that many people struggle to properly implement nutrition and wellness into their diets? Busy lifestyles are often blamed for poor nutrition and lack of wellness as a whole, but while this may be a valid factor, with the many quick, easy and nutritious meals that can be created it really shouldnt be used as an excuse.</p>
<p>The dietary choices that people make affect not only them, but their families as well. If they are parents, how they eat will determine how their children eat and how other generations go on to eat as well. The choices that are made affect future health and possibly how long they live.</p>
<p>So, what can be done to improve nutrition and wellness? In the US, there are basic dietary guidelines that clearly outline what is better to eat and what types of foods to avoid. The guidelines, if followed and implemented successfully, are thought to decrease the risk of obesity, disease and poor health in general. The risk of diabetes, heart diseases and other illnesses declines if the guidelines are properly administered.</p>
<p>The guidelines state theta they recommend eating nutrient full foods, eating less fatty foods, becoming more active day by day and by sticking within a calorie limit. Calorie limits can vary from person to person; it is always advised to seek a doctors opinion and advice before starting any physical activity and a diet. It is unlikely a doctor will advise against such exercise and diets unless a severe problem is apparent.</p>
<p>A good starting guide for nutrition and wellness is as follows:</p>
<p>Calories: Dont just count calories on the packet. Look at everything else on the nutritional information fat, sugar, carbohydrates, protein, etc. This will, as an overall picture, give you a good starting point as to whether it is nutritionally healthy or not. Look for certain foods that include various vitamins, minerals, fiber and other nutrients that are great for your body.</p>
<p>Keeping everything balanced: be sure to stay as active as you can, all the while incorporating a new and nutrient packed diet. Experts agree that if you want to stay the weight you are now you have to do at least 30 minutes of physical activity. If you want to lose weight, you have to do more than 30 minutes of real exercising every day. If you arent used to exercising take it slow and work your routine up gradually. </p>
<p>Eat plenty of the right foods: Eat lots of fruits, vegetables, protein, wholegrain foods and calcium full foods. These food groups are packed full of nutrients that are perfect for helping you with your nutrition and wellness.</p>
<p>Keep it lean: Meat should always be free of fat. If there is any fats on the meat you have, make sure to trim the fat off before cooking and eating. There are plenty of supermarkets and stores that sell lean meats to save you having to make it lean yourself. Changing your nutrition and wellness will be a complete change of lifestyle. This change is for the better and you will feel better for making and taking the decision.</p>

My mom offered me a book she read a long time ago, and it said that persons who don&#8217;t get the right vitamins and minerals every day not only get sick much easier, they also walk around with abnormal cravings.</p>
<p>After I read the book, it made me think about a teacher I had in fifth grade. This man was your classic teacher, though he was not very energetic. Quite often he would eat the chalk he had in the classroom. I never thought there was a reason why he did it even though we thought it was funny at the time. May be it had something to do with the quantity of vitamins and minerals in his diet? I have no idea, but this book was telling me it was. It&#8217;s a fascinating theory. But would it makes us eat chalk if our body craves for vitamins and minerals it is not getting?</p>
<p>So this might be the explanation why you demand certain foods. That&#8217;s surely not as disgusting as eat chalk, but this might explain odd cravings, particularly during pregnancy. Expecting women need more vitamins and minerals than anybody, and they have to be sure they get them. If they are not getting the vitamins and minerals for themselves as well as what they need for their growing baby, does this drive them to ask for Italian dressing and hotdogs in the middle of the night? I don&#8217;t know.</p>
<p>honestly don&#8217;t know if a lack of important vitamins and minerals might explain cravings, even though the man who wrote the book made some good points. What I do know is that if you are dieting you deal with cravings every day, and perhaps making sure your amount of vitamins and minerals is what it should be might just prevent a few of those stupid urges that make you over eat. Even though it&#8217;s just a theory, maybe if you make sure you take a daily vitamin it might help you to keep a lid on your urges just in case it works. If you start a diet plan that ensures you get the right foods each and every day, perhaps that, along with the vitamins, might provide you the head start you require to keep on track. Just don&#8217;t eat chalk, ok?</p>

<br />The inner core of the Earth is believed to be a solid iron-nickel alloy. Iron-nickel meteorites are believed to represent the earliest material formed at the beginning of the universe. Studies show that there is considerable iron in the stars and terrestrial planets: Mars, the &#8220;Red Planet,&#8221; is red due to the iron oxides in its crust.</p>
<p>Iron ore is one of the three naturally magnetic elements; the others are cobalt and nickel. Iron is the most magnetic of the three. The mineral magnetite (Fe3O4) is a naturally occurring metallic mineral that is occasionally found in sufficient quantities to be an ore of iron. The principle ores of iron are Hematite, (70% iron) and Magnetite, (72 % iron). Taconite is a low-grade iron ore, containing up to 30% Magnetite and Hematite.<br />

<p>When attending a holiday function, do your best to focus on the social aspects of the event instead of the food. Those that are on diets often find dealing with yummy fattening foods to be quite stressful, as they are worried that they will cheat. Focusing your attention on having engaging conversations reminds you of the true point of this social event and will help to keep you away from the food.</p>
<p>Sometimes a true challenge dieters face at holiday occasions is the food pushers. Food pushers can come in many forms: the grandmother, mother, mother-in-law or just about anyone. The food pusher has one objective: to get you to eat something you dont want to eat. Often it is unclear exactly why they want you to eat it. They often use guilt, sometimes saying things like Why, I made this especially for you. They have also used compliments such as, You look so skinny! Eat something! Any dieter needs to be on the true alert for the food pusher. Smile, be polite but do not give in. Eventually they will give up.</p>
<p>The holidays are a wonderful time to spend with family, friends and other loved ones. These times should be treasured and remembered. Your diet is a temporary situation. Focus on sticking to your diet now so this regime can soon be over.</p>
